There's no stopping us...
Late last year, a promotional mix CD entitled Dirty Progressive Funk by Artform 44 was making it's rounds. It was like no other mix CD as it featured well over 50 progressive house loops and elements, mixed into a collage of sound. To date, it is still the first of it's kind locally, setting an inspiring benchmark for the future generation of domestic DJs and producers. Well, we were so impressed and inspired, we have asked the accused to touch-up and rework the mix... and in re-mastered glory, we will be putting it out on it's second promotional rounds this year.
Limited copies to be given away to the first 5 people who can tell us WHO IS ARTFORM 44? Clue, click on the CD title and surf... then EMAIL us.

We can hardly breathe!!!
As we are in the midst of rolling out the 3 promotional mix CDs below, we are proud to announce the arrival of the 3rd installment of Private Space, which should be making it's rounds in about a week's time or so. What's it all about? It's a promotional series whereby we invite DJs to present a mix of stuff that they get their kicks off in their private space and time (thus the title).
For this volume, we have asked a music fan instead. Yes, you heard as right... a music fan! Kenneth Chui, affectionately known to the rest of the G2 folks as "that army boy" (he's out of it now), has been an avid and dedicated follower of our events and all things progressive. We were sent an MP3 of the mix and upon the first 15 mins of listening, we decided to commission it to our existing series. Until you hear the mix, don't write anything off as you will be pleasantly surprised.
Want to win a copy? We have copies to be given away to the first 3 to EMAIL us your name and address. Entries close 12 January 2003.

A happy new year to one and all... *etc, etc and etc*
As with the grand old tradition, each new year brings in a new hope (hopefully), or in our case, some glimmer of aural salvation in the form of 3 brand new promotional mix CDRs by some of the DJs on our relatively subdued stable. Hey, work's a bitch!
First off is Re:collection 002, which is a retrospective look into the lost era of epic house back in the mid 90s. It is mixed by that sad sod called Yukun. He rediscovered his roots and continues to search for his lost marbles. In the current stale state of dance music, this mix ain't that bad. Re:collection 001 is already in the making. Don't ask, it's rather confusing as with all "Back To The Future" storylines... :)
Not to be outdone, the other veteran Blissout has whipped out his tribute to the inspiring "northern exposure" sound in a 3CD set called Occurring Past Thoughts [Northern Exposure Re:Visited]. Talk about a long title, eh? CD One is finally completed with a rather mouth-watering tracklist and he continues his work on the other two. This is what "retro" should be about!
The third CDR, Re:volution 001, comes from a relatively low profile individual who has actually been a contributing member since the days of Solace. Lunus, aka Lunarsoul, aka Terence (he can't make up his mind, you see?), delivers a tough-as-nails nu-school breaks set boasting some impressive exclusives from Australia's creme. Shades of that We Are Not Angels Anymore mix? The sound of the future? Does it matter when it's this good?
Savour the tracklist below. Promotional copies will be distributed to G2 members, associates, friends as well as close mates of the mailing list. We will arrange for copies to be given away via contests on relevant local dance sites as well as via our email list. Beg, steal or borrow... :p
